Fundraising

Dear All,

We had a fund raising Saturday on the 13th December in a local supermarket Tesco. We had an opportunity to fundraise money by bag packing people's groceries from 10am until 5pm. It was a great time and we raised almost £900 towards a disabled toilet (Bathroom) and our youth ministry fund. Many people from the church came and helped out and we had a good time working together and talking with customers. We were also able to invite people to our Christmas Eve service which was a huge opportunity to reach out to our community.

Christmas Eve Service

Hey everyone!

 

We had a great Christmas Eve Service on the 24th December 2014. Many people from the community came to the service and we had wonderful time celebrating Christmas together.

Happy New Year 2015!

Dear friends and family!

 

As the new year 2015 is approaching few hours away we are taking this opportunity to reflect on the year 2014...and wish you all a wonderful new year 2015!

 

We are blessed! We cannot thank you enough for all your support and prayers...

 

Many events has taken place and God has been working in our character, in our lives and in our church. Year 2014 has been a huge year of growth and blessing in our personal lives and the church family has gotten much stronger together this year.

 

Here are few of the most recent highlights in November and December 2014...

 

We have a new Ministry Associate in Champion Life Church. Crystal Alexander is from Kansas and has come to help us in church ministry for the next two years! She came in November and she has already been a huge blessing! Here is a picture of Crystal working in Champion Life Church office.

 

 

 

Our leadership team at the church is growing and people who are in it are a huge blessing! This picture was taken in December in our living room when we had our leaders together for a small Christmas party!

 

 

 

Paul became a British citizen on the 16th December 2014! He has now a dual citizenship  - with American and British passports!  

Kids Carnival 2014

Hey Everyone!

 

On October 31st we organized a Kids Carnival for the children in our community.

We had a great turnout with over 200 children coming along plus over 50 parents!

Christian Magician shared the gospel message through different tricks...

Youth Week-end away

Hey Everyone!

 

Few weeks ago we had an opportunity to take 15 young people to a week-end away to Barcaple. The place where we stayed is a beautiful outdoor centre about two hours drive away from Glasgow. Every one of the young people loved it! It was a spiritual as well as physical boot camp for three days. Our theme for the whole week-end away was "Who is Holy Spirit"? We did lots of outdoor activities, hill hiking and canoeing as well as we spent time together as a youth group getting to know one another and more of God. We had an opportunity to pray with everyone to be filled with the Holy Spirit. And we had no phones...no internet...no social media...So proud of our young people connecting with one another and God without any distractions!

Common Wealth Games Glasgow 2014

Hey Everyone!

We had a really busy but wonderful summer! Glasgow was the host of the 2014 Common Wealth Games. ("like mini Olympics"). Athletes from all around the world came to Glasgow on 23rd July-3rd August. Our church was literally next door to the athletes village. There was a great buzz in the city and we did our best to be part of the games!

We hosted three different teams while the games were on. YWAM team from Brisbaine Australia were with us for three weeks. We also hosted a YWAM breakers team from the Netherlands and FireStarters Youth team.

We decorated peoples houses, organized a week long games in the park for kids, another week of Summer Holiday Club for the kids and a Family BBQ for the whole community.

Outreaches were a great success and we saw many people receive Jesus in their hearts during the outreaches.

Youth Event at Champion Life Church in June 2014

Hey Everyone!

The summer has come to Scotland! We have had the most beautiful weather for last few weeks! Praise God! Everything is going well here in Scotland. In the end of June we organised a youth conference day with Youth Alive Scotland. It was a great night with over 100 young people coming along. Our guest speaker was Hillsong London Youth Pastor Dan Blythe.

 

Please keep praying for us as we are preparing for the Common Wealth Games Outreaches. The Common Wealth Games are like mini Olympics, with Athletes coming from all over the world to Glasgow in July 23rd- August 3rd. The Sports village will be right around the corner from our church. We are believing for a great harvest of souls in this month of July.

Family Fun Day

Hey Everyone!

It has been over a month since we got back from America. We had a privilege to visit Texas and Connecticut in March and April!  It was wonderful to see so many friends and family as well as meet many new people and visit new churches! We were truly blessed!

May 10th, 2014 from 2pm-4pm..

It rained until 1.50pm and started raining at 4pm...Isn't God good, just the two hours we needed was beautiful and the sun even came out! Two families came to church and they have all received Jesus as their Lord and Savior! Please keep praying for these new families that they would stay committed and allow God to work in their lives.
