Life Has Meaning

Life Has Meaning is our monthly outreach to the Bridgeton people. This year we were out giving over 350 specially wrapped Christmas candles to the community. Many lives were prayed for and encouraged to "meet Jesus." It was a great time ministering to people the love of Jesus Christ. Here is a letter we received back from our acts of kindness:

"Thank you for your kind gift. It is nice to know that someone is still thinking of us at this very special time when people are at their lowest - some of us have no family to visit us on Christmas day. Your visit to my house on Saturday with my free gift lifted my hopes." Mr. Young

Pastor & Apostle Hugh Clark (Scotsman)

Pastor & Apostle Hugh Clark is a father in the faith to Paul and Heini and Champion Life Church. He has acted as a spiritual covering for the church in drawing the church closer to God, and recently has challenged the church to walk in their authority over "spiritual flabbiness" and "keeping the house clean." His message came from Jesus cleansing the temple. Hugh has a real heart to train up sons in the faith to be empowered to do great things for God and develop a their personal relationship with Him more intimately.

X-CEL Men's Conference

In November Paul brought three men from Champion Life Church to Abundant Life Church in Bradford, England for the X-CEL men's conference. Much of the Father's heart was preached, and life principles of living in the extraordinary in our homes as father's, husband's; and to be bold to make biblical leadership decisions in life.

Champions Youth Conference - 2010

This is Champions Youth Conference for November 2010. Paul is one of the three leaders on the Nat'l youth leaders team for Scotland Assemblies of God. Snow

Hey everyone!

Last few weeks have been pretty historical in Scotland. For the whole 11 years we have been in Scotland it has never snowed this much or for this long...The country has been in standstill...For almost two weeks the schools were closed and we were stuck in the house. We received the "forced"rest gladly and played a lot in the snow with the kids. We managed to keep Sunday morning services going but weekly meetings had to be cancelled.

Friends of ours from another church donated us their old minibus recently. Praise God, this was the only vehicle that was able to get through the snow. Below is a picture of Paul trying to get the snow off from the roof of the minibus!

Blessings, Paul, Heini and kids

On Friday and Saturday October 29 & 30th Christians in
Glasgow, Scotland had a weekend that won't be forgotten.
Recently this year, a couple Philip & Sara Anderson from Glasgow
Elim Church started something called GHOP otherwise know as
Glasgow House of Prayer. The name orignated from Kansas City
Church organization IHOP which stands for International House
of Prayer. This powerful ministry of 24 hour focused prayer and
worship to God has become one of the most influencial throughout
the world, under the ministry of Dr. Mike Bickle. Earlier this year
the GHOP leaders decided to invite the IHOP team to Scotland. Our
first meeting was held on the Friday morning for pastors and leaders,
and around 100 people had turned up. It was a powerful morning of
preaching, prayer and worship in God's presence. This meeting was
held in Cambuslang Baptist Church.

In the 1700's a catalyst minister named William M'Culloch was the
minister then. He was know to be "an extremely learned and studious
person, and a conscientious pastor to his congregation, he was no great
preacher." But God used him...

"The Cambuslang Work or 'Wark' in the Scots language, (February to November 1742) was a period of extraordinary religous activity, in Cambuslang, Scotland. The event peacked in August 1742 when a crowd of some 30,000 gathered in the 'preaching braes' - a natural amphitheatre next to the Kirk at Cambuslang - to hear the great preacher George Whitfield call them to repentance and conversion to Christ. It was intimately connected with the similar remarkable revivalist events taking place throughout Great Britian and its American Colonies in New England, where it is known as The First Great Awakening.

IHOP Meetings drew close to 400 people at Hamilton College

God wants to bring another great awakening to Scotland!
Moving right along at Champion Life Church. Pastor Paul
has been painting the sanctuarty. This is an important stage
of the church. Fresh paint always makes things look new!

Please keep praying for us.

John Partington is the National Leader for Assemblies of God in Great Britain.

He has been a pastor and apostolic leader and now wants to use his widespread experience, infectious sense of fun, and evangelistic zeal to bring a fresh vision and purpose Assemblies of God. John's exciting journey has demonstrated the God given positive attributes he has shown for more than three decades. He thrives on inspiring others with fun, the feel-good factor, and with his father's heart, he loves to encourage others. John has led churches in Bedworth, Liverpool and Exeter, England as well as pioneering seven others.

He has been married to Andrene for 36 years and is a father of three and a grandad.
ACT AS IF...

National leader of Assemblies of God Great Britian, John Partington, delivered an encouraging word at Champion Life Church on October 3. There have been many changes as the church recently changed its name, we are now in a fresh start, and believing the DNA of heaven is ours to possess. Pastor Paul Euliano has been motivating people to seek God for healing and seeing the supernatural come into existance.

This vision was greatly impacted and the fire in people's hearts was fueled as John shared his message "Act as if..." We are to act as if the word of God was true. John challenged the faith of the people by sharing that we are to act as if miracles were the norm, and that our lives would naturally be supernatural. We are called to live victoriously as we "act as if" we enjoy our lives, on the course of time it actually becomes a reality and it is not an act at all...We actually might start enjoying life.
Pastor Paul Scanlon is the senior pastor of Abundant Life Church. Champion Life Church is a networking church with Abundant Life Church, and have received much impact of "life empowerment-go to the next level" exhortation in the things of God! Here is Pastor Paul's vision:

The Church I See is God Centered, Purpose-Driven, and People Empowering.

The Church I See is exciting and full of life. It is a church that is both numerically large and spiritually deep.

The Church I See is non-religious, naturally supernatural, and incredibly fun to be in. It's a church of renowned character and integrity. A church whose number one priority is to glorify God and to bring His wonerful life to a lost world.

The Church I See is attractive, confident, victorious and overcoming. I see a church whose powerful proclamation and awesome worship are broadcast to the nations by every modern means possible.

The Church I See equips, enables and releases ordinary people to live extraordinary lives.

The Church I See is a deeply committed, loving, caring family amongst whom the lonely and the broken find refuge, new hope and belonging.
Abundant Life Church in Bradford, England has been a model church for Champion Life Church to see and learn from. Their aim is to be God-centered, purpose driven, and people empowering. They have flourished as they have started to reach out and practically express God's love to the people they 'do life with' in their communities. Their passion is to reach people who don't yet know Godand help them find a relationship with their Creator. They are a church sets the vision for churches in the 21st century.
On September 30 Pastor Paul brought three leaders in training from Champion Life Church down to a full day of a networking leaders conference in Bradford, England. At Champion Life Church we are committed to building into the lives that God brings our way. Our heart is to empower them with purpose and vision, and to build the DNA that God put into us into them. Here is Pastor Paul with Thomas, Angela & her husband Richard. Together we can making a diffence!

Preaching the Word of God!
Hello! This is our new wall back drop. As you can see we have removed the pulpit...We want are encouraging people these days with fresh vision to: Reach Higher! Dream Bigger! Love God! & Love Others! We're so excited of how God is changing things within the church. We really feel that we're moving forward to a greater cause for Christ, and seeing his Kingdom come and his will be done!

Mark Morgan is a good friend of Paul and Heini's from Peterhead, at the north of Scotland. Mark serves in New Hope Trust Ministries, and is doing a great work for the Lord there. He came and help launch the new name for Champion Life Church, and preached a powerful word of hope and seeing the breakthrough of the Lord in our lives.

New chairs! Praise God for the many churches who helped us in our "buy-a-chair" project fundraiser. We couldn't purchase the chairs without you. We also want to thank our church partners who's helped with these chair purchases.
This is one of our recent changes in Champion Life Church - we said "history" to the pews! Thank God for modernization.
